I'm not going to go crazy about this because it's just a textbook. It's literally about the science of fabric and has pretty pictures of designer dresses at the end of the chapters. I would say though, if you want to buy this book new, this was the best price I found. The school bookstore was about $100 and other places were $90. Some even sold their used one for $80ish-$90. I got this for about $70 in new condition.
Great intro to textiles, I purchased this as a required textbook for apparel design. Get the matching lab book. Great for anyone who wants to understand textiles and the industry better.
Brought the first copy in college (1996 a not that good of a read), the new version is amazing to read! Really feel as if this book is worth every penny!
Great reference book. Everyone in the fashion industry should have this book in their office to refer! Students don't sell this one back it's a keeper!
The book is in good condition however two of the loop holes are broken so it make it hard to turn the pages and they could possibly fall out.

This is an awesome book but it comes in a 3 ring binder and my binder won't close. As I turn the pages, they fall out due to the 1/4 inch gap between the two sides of the rings.
