This is a book aimed at grade 1 and up. Younger readers might be put off by the very stylized and boxy type colour illustrations. They were not very appealing to my grandchildren.The book has Keneesha, a secret service agent introduce the White House. The information gets confusing, especially since it does not follow any chronological order. President Taft and Franklin Roosevelt are on the same page. Lincoln is mentioned 2 pages later. At least the author is preparing for a woman president because she mentions the first lady or the first gentleman.This book does have a lot of good information. It is just not presented in a pleasing way.
