I bought this for my grandchild who lives in another state and had it shipped directly to her. So I did not see it myself. However she reported that she enjoyed it. She had been doing a project on Ellis Island for her studies and it helped.
I was so excited to find this book. Our history unit has a section on Ellis Island. This book will give students an opportunity to bring history to life.
My 4th graders LOVE these "You Choose" books! I have a wait list on these books for students to read them after one another!
