I read so many Amish novels and they have all been the same, predictable story line . Kids go to the barn for singing g, boys pick up girls after singing in there spotless buggy. Marriage, hanging laundry, the Bishop isn't happy, baking bread, etc. Finally a book that has a little excitement and a twist in the story line....and nobody baked any pies for the meal after church!.....Thank you,Martha Sowell.
The story was very exciting and kept my interest all the way to the end. I like the way she writes and can hardly wait for the next part to come out.
