This is my first Miller read and it won't be my last. Initially I had no love for Angel and Demetrius they were just characters in a story trying to make it but then in a alley, a bat, and a stripper changed my mind.I began to care about these two as their lives touched my heart. Watching them grow from day to day in their relationship. What I enjoyed the most was being able to see the long arm of God reaching and the spiritual fight right here on earth.This book is for anyone looking for a good story that continues to build and climax.
Another great story by Vanessa Miller. I held my breath often as Angel and Demetrius literally were running for their lives. They are now part of a list of favorite characters, right along with Nina and Isaac and the rest of the Rain characters. I am looking forward to seeing how God will work miracles in their lives as they embark on this spiritual warfare journey.
I enjoyed this read. I fealt like this is a lot of people story as to how they started in the word & at some point was let down but in their soul really still feel the holy spirit.I can't wait to see how this boy could possibly come to Jesus & could also bring his father into it as well.
I really enjoyed family business and I can't wait for the next book in the series! They are no Isaac, but this is a great next family series. The Rain series is a hard act to follow, but I am excited to see Vanessa return to the supernatural mixed with family issues and a spice of love. This is what drew me to Vanessa in the first place! All I can say is - BRING BOOK #2!
This author's book always pull me in! I felt every emotion Demetrius felt. I love how she explains everything in detail. I felt Angel's parents prayers. I have never been disappointed by a Vanessa Miller book! If you have never read a book by her you should start with this one!!
Vanessa Miller has done it again with another supernatural family saga that I hope is going to rival Isaac and Nina Walker sequels in the Rain series.Demetrius Shepherd and Angel Barnes story is one that shows truth to the fact that we all fall short to the glory of Our Father but even in falling you can get back up. What G-D has joined together, let no man put asunder.Admittedly the ending did just what it was suppose to do... Leave me wanting for more and I can't wait!
I could not put this book down. Don and Demetrius Shephard have an interesting father/son relationship and just when I thought I was catching on, Angel threw me a curve ball. But just in reality, life doesn't always turn out the way we plan.This was an excellent read and I would highly recommend it.
Another winner by Vanessa Miller. Loved the story and the characters. God truly does works in mysterious ways. Can't wait to see how God will use Demetrius and Angel. I did have a problem with the editorial glitches. Too many word errors.
