Glad I didn't buy this book. It really is only a short story. There are a lot of miss spelled words and grammar errors. It only skimmed over the surface of the story and didn't go into the characters or their lives. Plus in reading the "taster" she uses the same characters but changes some of their story so it made no sense. They may have been different stories,but if you use the same characters you need to keep the facts of their lives together. Plus the links to Facebook page does not take you to her page and the one for her web page didn't work either. Don't waste your time or money. I am sorry but my sixteen year old writes better stories.
The story was a good one, but obviously no one proofread this book before publishing it. Misspelled words, wrong use of words (ant instead of aunt) and extra words that didn't belong. Very disappointing.
EVE and Jeremiah King are a very happy couple and very much in love. She works in a shop and makes quilts and sells them and also sells the quilts of other ladies in the shop. Jeremiah is a cabinet maker and he drives Eve to the shop everyday and picks her up too. One night when she was waiting for him to come home after he made a delivery it was very late and she went to her parents to wake them up. Her father went to see what happened when the police arrived to tell her that her that Jeremiah was in an accidental he was dead. You will want to read to see how God provided for her and her baby.
Eve and Jeremiah's story is so sad. Watching Eve and Gabriel become friends then more is amazing. Gabriel is a wonderful understanding person. You will feel God working throughout this whole book.
I enjoyed this quick read. There were several typos. There were several things that seemed non Amish. But, it was a fun little read.
Good story but short , typical plot. Characters were good , just wish it was longer. I still enjoyed the story
