Jalisa Smith was a faithful servant of God who wanted nothing but the best for her only daughter Jamonica. Jalisa made sure to keep her in church as close to God as she possibly could. That is until one tragic event caused her to stop believing everything she thought she knew about Him. All those years of praising and worshipping someone who would destroy her life gone down the drain. Jalisa was done and made sure that it was clear to Jamonica not to go anywhere near the church. Not wanting to disappoint her mother but holding on to the faith she had, Jamonica knew in order to continue on the path of righteousness she had to continue to walk with the Lord no matter how many times her mother told her not to. The further away from God Jalisa got the closer she became to the drugs that continued to have her strung out and Jamonica at a loss and forced to take care of herself. But how? When her mother starts to fall further away and the company she begins to keep mean her no good what will happen to Jamonica. Will she become a victim to her mother's lovers or will God lead her to a better promising life. Is Jalisa strong enough to turn back to her salvation or is she so far gone that things turn deadly?

I ENJOYED THIS BOOK!!! IT'S A VERY GOOD BOOK TO ME! IT WAS LIKE A REAL LIFE STORY IT KEPT ME FROM BRINGING TO THE END! I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR EVERYONE TO READ....I PROMISE U ..YOU WILL ENJOY IT. *****TO THE WRITER***** KEEP WRITING ONE DAY WE WILL SEE YOUR NAME ON THE NEW YORK BEST SELLERS LIST! WATCH GOD WORK! *WANT HE DO IT*

This book is off the chain. Very well put together, had my attention from start to finish. Great job good read.@LATRELL. I think your comment to this writer was a little harsh but everyone has a right to their own opinion of course. I think you read just to fine flaws in someone's work. I may be wrong but again that's just my opinion. You remind me of the story about the crabs in the bucket. I'm sure some where down the line you' ve heard or read the story. If not hit me back and I tell it to you in my version. Good day!

Absolutely loved this story. Jalisa raised her daughter in the church and loved it until her husband died and she felt like God turned his back on her and in turn prohibited her daughter from church which led to many chain of events. This is a story of grace and mercy, forgiveness, redemption and unconditional love.

Great book from beginning to end. This book is about grace, mercy, redemption, and restoration. I enjoyed this book because it shows that we serve a forgiving God. God is so awesome. The book had some grammatical errors but did not take away from the story.

This book took me down a road of clarity before I read this book I was struggling with my prayers this book taught me how to pray and hold on to my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!!! Amen there's a powerful lesson in this book it's definitely a must read !!!

This book was good from beginning to end end. Had a few grammatical errors. It was about God.'s grace mercy, redemption and restoration despite the storms of life

Storyline was great. I liked the characters. I really love the testimonies. The only thing I can say that takes away from the quality is, there is too much narration. A lot and I mean a lot of grammatical errors. Some parts of the book seemed rushed and at times I felt like I was reading a book from a child's perspective. Or shall I say from jamonica's perspective. Other than that you have to love it for the powerful message in the book.

I have struggled much like Jalisa and I also have had to fight my demons. While reading this story, I did a lot of crying, not because of sadness for the characters, but because the story truthfully emphasized the, grace and mercy of God.
