I loved the development of all the characters, only problem I had with it was the predictable occurrences. and also it just seems like every one got pregnant around the same time period, which is not normal when reading a book. Other than that, I loved everything about this book and how important family was exemplified throughout the whole book. I did want to know what happened to baby Bilal and his wife Shakira. I also like the baby brother Kane, his character reminds me of myself. Great debut novel!!!!, will be looking for future titles from this author.
I was pleasantly surprised to run across a novel by someone from my neck of the woods in VA. I could picture the scenes around the city. I can't wait to read the companion book and other books from this author.
I really enjoyed this book because it was the characters had different things going on in their lives and either their faith in God they made it through their different trials and tribulations.
The overall storyline was good but both the books ended abrutly and it was kind of dragging in some places. I wasn't overly impressed but i got what the author was saying.
I was enjoying this read until it abruptly ended. I believe it could have allowed the characters to experience more before ending so crazy!
This work of fiction keeps the reader intrigued from start to finish. I especially love the family dynamic and hope to see more of them?😊
Read non-stop from start to finish. Wonderful to read a spiritual testimony with scripture highlighting the beauty of Gr's word.
Very down to earth portraying real life situations. Will obtain 2nd book to see what happens to all the characters.
