(WARNING: Extensive; contains review for Parts 1, 2 & Final.)(NOT STAND ALONE BOOKS; MUST READ IN ORDER.)Part 1: 06/18/14(God Doesn't Make Mistakes by Denora Boone 4.5) (SEMI-SPOILER REVIEW)The perfect verse that describes the message received after personally reading this short story is, Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"Age doesn't exclude you from the manifold tests God will give you in life. We all will endure many of them throughout different stages in our lives, regardless of age or our dedicated faithfulness to our heavenly father. This quick pace short story, delightfully written. Even though the tale is pen as `Urban' Christian fiction, the novelist did an excellent job in my viewpoint with getting an authentic message written, without the over use of biblical terminology. They are a few simple editing mistakes, but in no means in my opinion were they distracting to where it reduce my attention in reading the story. The character development did seem to be a tad rushed. Without going into many details, there were moments where I had hoped for the author to extend the narrative and/or dialogue. There was a moment of an afterthought, where I would have either like for the author to have prolong or perhaps made it present. In short, terms I was looking for more in depth. However, all this is due to the page length of the story.Yes, the story does end with many unanswered questions, and Yes, that is an avid reader like myself pet peeve. However, I'm actually looking forward to Part Two (2). Redemption? Revenge? Secrets Reveal?Would like to also note: Even though the characters are young adults, it's written for anyone to read.
