Another wonderful book from Stephen R. Covey. He has a wondeful way of communicating that show his love and in-depth understanding of the Gospel and it's precepts. This book builds on "The Divine Center" (Another Covey book published in the 80's). If we can follow the model that Covey put's forth in the pages of this book we will not only live more fulfilling lives, we will build better relationships with out Saviour and truly understand how to "become perfect in Christ". I would recommend this book to anyone who is searching for a compass to help point them in the correct direction for there life here on Earth.
I was pleasently surprised with this latest work from Covey. It is outstanding, history explained and it is clear and to the point. If you are a student of the gospel and the First Vision this is the best I've found in twenty plus years. I have read it twice and am now reading with my wife.
These CD's are intended for LDS church members. I have listened to these CD's at least 10 times, and will continue to do so in an effort to not only better understand the concepts being presented, but also to be so familiar with those concepts that I will internalize them...I have already put into practice some of these concepts and have had some wonderfully amazing and fulfilling experiences as a result. These CD's should be in every LDS home- they will enrich your life.
Stephen Covey not only tells the story of the 6 events that brought about the full restoration of the church of God on earth, but also shows us how to apply the principles of those events in our own personal development. This is a great read for full time and member missionaries. It first helps us achieve our own personal gospel restoration and then shows us the model for helping bring others to Christ.
Stephen Covey outdoes himself once again, only this time he writes mostly to the LDS audience. Highly recommended to all who are interested in expanding their knowledge of the gospel.
I have really enjoyed and gotten a lot out of Stephen Coveys other books and tapes but this one "Six events..." is for Mormons or Latter Day Saints Only. I had to stop listening to it because it just was so "Mormon oriented". Very disappointed that I hadn't read enough of the description to pick up on that.Now what do I do with it?
