This is a book about a kid named Tom Gates who has an amazing life! (Save for grouchy sisters, bullies and embarrassing school discos). In the beginning Tom is having a great start to his day! But his plan to have fun is foiled with these two words “math lesson.”I think people of all ages would love this book. Even though kids ten and up would get the most out of this hilarious U.K. novel, the word art on each page really draws younger kids into the story.Because of funny twists in the story and characters kids can relate to, I will give this book 5 stars.Review by Maccabee, age 9, Atlanta Mensan
