The Author goes into great detail about how the IRS works and operates.I give this book 5 Stars for the Author writes about how to stay out of the IRS way in thefirst place. She reveals never to under report your income along with other never to do things.This is a easy read for those interested in this subject matter.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I was expecting a helpful book and I got that, but 'accounting' oriented books are typically on the dry side. Instead, Sherry writes very personally and openly about her experience as an agent as well as sharing insights gained over the years. It's like having a friend talk you through the process of dealing with what can be a very scary government entity for many people. It is so refreshing to hear the literary voice of an (ex) agent who truly has compassion for the American people as they struggle to survive in this economic/taxation system. Hopefully, other agents will see the damage done by strong-arming innocent people and also open up to help their fellow countrymen. I hear a lot in the media/government about 'togetherness' but I don't see it in action from them...there's little to no mercy for the little guy in spite of all the social programs. How about if we give the common people a fighting chance to succeed instead steamrolling over them? This book is a great little reference for any tax payer to have on the shelf and I highly recommend it.
