Life is full of surprises―some that are welcome, some that aren’t. A trip in the Imagination Station is usually fun, but three generations from the Parker family are surprised to find that it can be life-changing, too. And who doesn’t love the circus, especially when it involves solving a mystery behind sabotage and betrayal? And Connie’s life is turned upside-down by an unexpected phone call, triggering major changes for everyone around her. In laughter or tears, you can count on the gang at Whit’s End to make life’s surprises fun, exciting, touching, and rich with lessons from God.Episodes include: Life Expectancy (Parts 1-3), Your Servant Is Listening (Parts 1-2), The Friend Formula, No Chemistry Whatsoever, More Than a Feeling, Repent after Me.

Definitely, as with all odyssey albums, it's Christian through and through. If you are not a Christian, it will probably be hard for you to enjoy this.Pros:Introduction some old characters was smooth as you please, but with enough suddenness to make you hunger for more. Connie's reactions in Life Expectancy were realistic, and her Dad was great. The script was amazing, and the acting was superb. The sound designers seem creative and alive at finding new sounds, in fact, the entire crew seems like their having so much fun making this, which gives it a good, worthy feeling.Cons:In 'Your Servant is Listening' a woman gives birth, and though someone goes to help, the point of view doesn't actually go near, but it does seem a bit intense for some. /: Life expectancy is a very rough, harrowing journey through grief, and though sprinkled with tasteful humor, it still presents a grim overshadowing. Death is discussed very seriously. In The Pilot, there is some drama as a young boy is led to believe his mother will die (she doesn't) and many young ones fall seriously ill. These aren't exactly cons, but they are thing to consider. The Parker family seems to bicker frequently, and I did grow weary of it after awhile, though it is (usually) resolved in the end. These aren't things I'd change my five stars for, but this seemed like a newer, grimmer odyssey in a way, and it felt slightly more depressing.

Went on a road trip with my kids and we all loved listening to these cd's. Great message in the stories and they held their interest so well that we only had to break out the DVD player one time for an hour and it was a 3 day car trip.

Once again the folks that put these episodes together have done it with clear understanding of our need for our Lord and Savior in our life. The episode where there is a death is done very well - with honesty, care, compassion and an understanding that one day we will all die...and that we all need to have total faith in Jesus to spend eternal life with Him.I own all 57 volumes of the Adventures in Odyssey albums, I have no children, I am 53 and am a Youth Director in our Catholic parish. These CDs have truly helped me to reach the teens, and adults, when they struggle with many of lifes challenges. All the episodes in this album, like some many of the others produced, keep our focus on Jesus and our need to want to really know His love for us and what we need to do to understand that love.

I highly recommend any Adventures in Odyssey series! This program is such a wonderful resource and tool for teaching character, virtue, and tough topics like death and suffering. My children, ages 10, 7, and 4 love this series! This should be a staple in every home!

If you've never listened to these your children are missing out!!!! Good morals for all of us to live by and teach to our children at a young age! My kids LOVE these!! And so do I :) going to try to buy all of them from the early years on :-)

I can't say enough good things about all the products from Adventures in Odyssey! We just love the way Focus on the Family uses everyday situations to come up with Adventures in Odyssey. Here at home, all of their materials are loved. I recommend all of their products, you won't be sorry.....we are addicted to Adventures in Odyssey!

We liked it. I wish I would have known the seriousness of this before buying it (bought it somewhere else). We listened to it on a road trip as I was bringing my girls to visit my family and we have a sick family member. Made for some interesting conversation and tearful moments for myself also.

We love Adventures in Odyssey! We travel a lot and my daughter loves to listen to them on the long car drives. She also listens to them at night before bed. The CD was packaged nicely and it shipped very quickly (although my daughter was very impatient waiting for it!)
