This is a great tool for third grade teachers who have students that are visual learners. Many of the worksheets have students incorporate pictures (multiplication/ division groups) and number-lines to show their work.
This is used in my sons class and it really helps me help him plus the added bonus of helping him understand more of something he didn't catch in class I highly recommend it. I saw a dramatic improvement in his math grade with it.
This is an awful math text. It suggests lots of activities that are themselves so confusing that even the most able students are unlikely to be able to discern what math area they are supposed to be studying. By the same token, it provides little to no guidance to help students understand how numbers work or to develop computational skills. Choose another text!
This practice book series is a nice fit with the new common core. I did need to add more practice for new skills, but the framework is just what I needed.
Great book for exercising at home after schooling and for vacation days. Didactic and easy for daily practice.
