The title of the book is somewhat misleading. It sounds way more sensational than what the book offers - this is a guide on setting up your business websites and blogs, making sure those sites rank high enough in search engines to be visible, and then monetizing them. How much profit you can make from those sites is up to you.The SEO tricks here are "White Hat", mostly. This is good because if you don't know what you are doing yet (and sometimes even if you do), "Black Hat" SEO will get you in trouble with search engines.The process is pretty straightforward, from keyword research to backlink building and monetizing. Nice bits like legal info is also included, which is a plus - most similar guides don't really go into the trouble. There's a whole lot of stuff here you can just copy and paste that should make setting your sites way easier.However, I think that while the book has a walk-through for pretty much anything you need to set up your business sites, it would have benefited from real life examples. This would have made it easier for those of us who are still learning the process. The videos from the Resources section of the website the book has links to do help somewhat with that though.I've read several similar guides recently and so far this one gets points for being very thorough. I would have preferred some of the info from the site to be included in the book so I don't have to go back and forth all the time. It's just my quirk - I like my information in one place. That said, the site does have a lot of resources.Props to the author for statements like - "the "get rich in 30 days online" Internet courses never work... they don't last long in Google." True, one has to put up some time and effort and be pretty careful while at it. I am still learning but I've already realized that.My Conclusion: This a solid, no-nonsense guide for setting up business sites with nice walk-throughs.
Promoting things on Google is no longer done the way this book describes as of March 2014 when I read it. Don't waste your money, as that's a large part of the book.
I purchased the book just to see if there was any relevant content on there. With the Google algorithm updates - Panda, Penguin, etc. your strategy of link building is about 3 years old. Not relevant for today's websites, which require actual link bait and strategic marketing.
What he teaches may have work in the past but after Penguin and Panda Google throws his technique and this does not work. Don't waste your time!
I guess what makes this book so good (for me atleast) is that it actually condenses and easily organizes the insane amount of information that is already available online about making passive income. The problem with the internet, and making money online - is that everyone tries to take something simple and make it complex so they can make it "their own" and rebrand it to sell it to people like me.But not this book. This was a straight shooting, get your hands a little dirty and set up your successful future book. It took all the "noise" that is available out there and easily condensed it for people like me and you to understand and achieve succes from. Its a top quality - easy read book with great ACTIONABLE content.Thats all I ever wanted, someone to give me the straight shooting, no frills advice, built off of real experience that I can incorporate right away - and it did its job.
I will confess, I am no newbie to making money online. So, it was with great interest that I picked up (so to speak) this kindle book. I read through the entire thing in one sitting, nodding my head in agreement. Mr. Omar knows his stuff, that is for sure.The online world changes every day, and those that seek to make money online need to be in the "know" on a regular basis. It does no good to buy an outdated book, especially for those utilizing Google. They change their platform on a regular basis. This book is current, fresh and detailed.All you need to do now is follow the step-by-step formula that Mr. Omar has laid out for you. It will take some time, and a small budget, but if you do as he directs, there is no reason you can't be making money online. Mr. Omar also provides tons of resource links for the reader to reference throughout. Most lead to his own training and sample websites, and that is a good thing. That means that you will have constant refreshing and updating as you go along. You won't be left high and dry.If you are looking to make money online, I definitely recommend this book.
I picked up this book for my Kindle, and started "leafing" through it, I started to read and once I did, could not put it down. An excellant book to read and follow one chapter at a time- Then to see the videos online- AND, joining his FREE online website. I don't know about you, but at age 57 I need instructions to be "blunt-stupid-simple", and I'm not ashamed to say so. Mike is the man- I strongly urge you to purchase his books! What a deal,Thanks Mike!
Before I wrote How to Make Money Homesteading: So You Can Enjoy a Secure, Self-Sufficient Life I read How to Make Money Online. I wanted to compare notes on what I have learned as well as what those I profiled in the book talked about. Granted, there are some parts of this book that can be seen as morally questionable, but there is a ton to take out of this book. I recommend it.
