This is another masterpiece by Colonial Radio Theater. This is a lot of fun. My family loves it because the sound effects are perfect for the story. We listen to this all year round. Great family fun.
The legend of Sleepy Hollow is Washington Irvings masterpiece. It is a wonderful tale that is simply timeless. A Spooky quiet little town along the mighty Hudson is the home of Halloweens favorite spectre, The Headless Horseman. The Colonial Radio Theatre does a great job of letting Washington Irvings prose carry the story. They add just enough sound effects, fine acting, and superb music score to make this program truly a classic. I highly recommend this program, it will become one of your favorites.
My 7th grade class does a unit on "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" every year. I usually read it to them, but this dramatization was a welcomed break for my voice.
Audio- fun and spooky in audio. A short quick classic. Great for a popcorn night with friends around the campfire
