With Dick Hill reading the novellas and the Rules, how could it be bad? The Rules made me laugh because of all the references to the novels that only a true Reacher fan would understand. The 3 novellas give insight into a younger Reacher and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
I drive between one hundred and three hundred miles a days in Northern California so I need a good book to listen too and I have purchased hundreds from and Lee Child always has Reacher doing something that makes my ride easier. Great books.
These three Jack Reacher Novellas were the first Jack Reacher Books that I've read. All three were very entertaining. They were also well read.

I love Lee Child's Jack Reacher books. However, we bought these stories on CD to listen to while we were driving west. The sound quality was not good. We had a hard time understanding what was being read.
Love the Jack Reacher novels and was excited to listen to the novellas. Unfortunately, Dick Hill's reading style was not to my taste. He does have a great voice, but his narration I felt was a little stiff and forced. He tried to give the characters slightly different voices, however, it just didn't do anything to enhance the stories and at times, sounded choppy.I came across the Tripwire CD at a garage sale and absolutely loved the narrator, Jonathan McClain - would love to hear more Reacher stories read by him.
I've always liked the reacher series, and appreciate the small things in between the author writing the next big story. Up to now I have them all, and will probably continue as long as I can read and he can write
Lee Child is a master storyteller, so of course these stories are great. Both my husband and I enjoyed them on our recent road trip. It was great fun meeting the young Reacher in Second Son. My only issue was that some of the scenes weren't 100% believable. Not even Reacher would have his act together that well as a teenager (High Heat).
