I am a big fan of Louis L'Amour's strong male western characters and stories.. For me this was a fascinating change of time and place by one of the best story tellers out there. The excellent dramatizations just make the stories come to life.. It was a wonderful distraction from those otherwise long boring rides.
A Brilliant audio production mirroring the adventure written by Louis L'Amour. Special audio effects, believable characters and motivations, and a sense of time are the spoils of capture in this equatorial adventure. Ratio of fun? Priceless for every buck spent. Enjoy!
While the "cleverly crafted sound effects" might be an advantage for some, the sound effects all but drown out the dialogue for the hearing impaired. I was looking forward to this story but was unable to make out the lines of dialogue because of the loud background noise of the sound effects. Not the greatest idea in the world!
this is a different Louis L'Amour and I really liked it.
