This little book is a perfect story time read for our family! I am able to read it in English and my husband enjoys reading it in Spanish to my pregnant belly. My husband says the translation is good and accurate (something VERY important, yet quite difficult to examine when buying a book online), and the story is sweet and rhythmic.
My family has owned the english version for about 3-4yrs and my son took great liking to it in his toddler years and at age 5 he still enjoys me being silly with him in acting out the book. It's a wonderful gift and the bilingual version gives it an even bigger perk for anyone trying to teach their child english or spanish as a second language. Enjoy some special time with your child using this book!
Both of my children absolutely love this book. I could say 100% that this is the most favorite book ever. My 2 year old always picks it up when is reading time and gets mad when we are getting to the end of it because she doesn't want it to end.
This is a very sweet book about loving a child just the way they are. The Spanish translation varies slightly from the English for a smoother read. I love reading it to my one and three year old children, and they love it too!
This book is perfect! Such a loving message that I am happy to read to baby every day, several times a day! Baby loves the book & swiping her hands across the pages to make squeaky noises. I also love the "soft" cover. I am SO happy I purchased this book.
Sweet, sweet story for a little guy( 8 months old) who will most certainly be speaking both Spanish and English as he grows. He's lucky to live in a bi-lingual family with parents and a big sister who love to read with him.
I love this easy to read book. The illustrations and cute words are so fun to read. My sons loved to point out their nose and mouth along with the book. It was also a great way to teach emotion. It is slso my go to book for a gift.
Honestly I think I like it more than my son, but he loves books so he doesn't mind when I ask to read it. That's right, I ask to read it. It's sweet story going over how much you love your kid from his head to toes, inside and outside, etc. How wouldn't a parent love to talk about how much she/he loves their child?! I love that it's also in Spanish which is what I usually read to my son in. The illustrations are sweet, it's a board book so handles a lot of drool and snot well and is the right length for an infant or toddler.
