It was a very interesting story. It reminds me Of how desperate people who are not yielded to God can create havoc. The story reminded me of how important forgiveness is.Jesus makes the difference in all we go through in life.
This was my first opportunity to read the work of D.A. Kelley....and wow what a rich read it was. It has been awhile since I found a novel that made me selfishly hide out with my Kindle and read for hours until I finished. This book was filled with drama, comedy, real-life challenges that plague families dealing with Mental illness. This book allowed me to experience so many emotions simultaneously. I loved the characters. I look forward to CeeCee and James' story as well as Lynette, Terrell, Van and even Geneva's. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys excellent story-telling.
This book was engaging from beginning to end. There were a lot of twists and turns you then this is going to happen then the something esle does. Geneva was too much and liked drama. Claudia was taking so much and going through it with her husband. Don't miss out on this good read.
I enjoyed this book and each of the characters. There was a lot of secrets and a few surprises. The theme of the book was: things don't look like they appear . I hope that there is another book with the same characters
God can change the king's heart made of stone. Anger and the inability to forgive are like a metastatic cancer. Forgiveness is the miracle cure for the ills of the soul. Be quick to forgive and slow to condemn. Remember, when we point a finger at others, we have three pointing back at ourselves.Be blessed. Be balanced. Believe in a Power Higher than yourself!
I loved this book, it shows God's love, mercy and favor is real...It also shows that it's not enough to love someone and be a couple, if you are not moving toward being one, separation is inevitable...Forgiveness is key to healing and spiritual growth

Definitely a 5 star book!This story played with all ofy emotions. I laughed, cried, praised, prayed, got angry, got happy, and more! I could actually see this book made into a movie. To me, it was that good. Most importantly, it reminded me to forgive and why forgiving is important. Thank you for the lesson.
