A favorite book for my 2.5 year old. The pictures are all vibrant with a special touch that really is fitting for the age group it is targeted to. All of Monica Wellington's books have these illustrations. The book focuses on life at the firehouse and responding to a call. It does a good job representing other races.
What a cute book. The little one "loves" her firemen. Whenever we are out and she see's them she always goes up to them and thanks them tells them she loves them. So I had to get her a Fireman book and she just loves to read this book over and over. Great book.
This is a very good book for people who are interested in teaching very young children what a fireman actually does. There are a lot of cutesy stories about firemen out there, but this one is very true to life while still being a fun story. I know, bc my husband is a fireman. I recommend it for that reason to anyone, but especially to children of firefighters.
My son is almost 2 and LOVES this book. He is really into firetrucks and any kind of vehicle, and this is his new favorite. We have to read this every day. It's a quick little book, great for his little hands, and an easy read for when he gets older and is learning how to read.
My 1 1/2 yr old really enjoyd Monica Wellington board books. This one has very colorful pictures. It is written with a simple, but still engaging, storyline. This book has a couple "easter eggs" to find, with appearances from one of her other pupular books.
My 1.5 year old daughter loves this book. We're buying a replacement because unfortunately, she loved this library book a little too much. It's a sturdy well made book, but sticky stuff drying between the pages will take out any book.
Great book. I bought it because my 1.5 yr old likes fire trucks- but he really loves this book because of the puppy. Sparky the firehouse dog appears on every page and is his favorite part
This instantly became one of my 2 year old's favorites as soon as I bought it home. He already loved Mr. Cookie Baker, also by Monica Wellington so I wasn't surprised that he loved it.
