To much is left out because the book was abridged. I would like it unabridged so more background of the story was included.
All three books included in this box set were extremely condensed, to the point they were almost more like well thought out screen plays and only shadows of their true stories. They were a bit of a disappointment for me but I am aware that this is because I'm a long-time, avid fan of Mr. Griffin's and knew exactly what was cut out to make these 400-600 page books fit into 3-hour readings.That being said, I bought the set as something to listen to on drives with my 13 year old son. He enjoyed them immensely and I was not driven nuts with rap music, so it was over-all a good bargain.
Can't wait for next one (alrgough mostly written by Griffin's son~~he's learning !) This word rquirement is starting to bug me!
