I grew up with Walt Disney in my lounge. As a kid I loved watching all the Disney cartoons and of course the Disney movies whenever they came out (and still do).The man had an incredible vision that he was able to see in his mind's eye without having the fortune of seeing it "in the flesh". An extremely talented visionary indeed. What would the world be without Disney? An interesting book filled with facts and information about the legend, Walt Disney. Highly recommended.
I thought this was a really cool book for kids and very neat to see some pictures and learn some history about Disney. Along with his brother, he was quite the entrepreneur and parents would do well to point some of these things out as they read with their kids so they can learn about the business of Disney along with the artistry. Who knows? They could become the next major innovator in entertainment and please the entire world.
Walt Disney really was a pioneer in animation, and he was very successful. But I didn't realise, before reading this book, that he went through a number of failures early on in his career. This book is full of interesting facts about the man and his dream, and of course, there are pictures too! A well-written and enjoyable read. I highly recommend!
My son had to do a school project and read a biography, it is hard to find biographies and fun books of that nature for kids to read and enjoy. This book was just the right length for him to read and not loose interest. It provided so many fun facts that helped him complete his project and paper. Couldn't beat that it was free for the kindle the day I purchased it as well!
Covers most of the important events that make Walt Disney special from his early life to building of theme parks. Would recommend it adults for a quick read of the Disney story.
I liked this book, it had a lot of interesting info about Walt Disney, a good mix of old and new. It was easy to read. I'm an adult and I enjoyed it so would be good for any age
This book provided great detail into the history of Walt Disney the Disney legacy. I really enjoyed reading and sharing his history with my daughter.
Now who doesn't like fun facts????I think they are just incredible and can get the young mind want to learn more about a person, place or thing.
