I grew up with Ant and Bee and was surprized that they were no longer in print. marketplace fortunately was the place to find them, and fter some time, I now have all 13 for my daughter who loves books. The prices are often ridiculous, but if you keep a look out can get them for around $30-still alot for a small book, but I had sentimental reasons for wanting my children to read these delightful treasures. Each book has a theme, and most planned around the alphabet. Ant and Bee are 2 friends who travel around the world and have adventures together. Through these your child can learn about colours, time, days of the week, being sick, travelling around the world and starting school. My daughter loves hers and I still do too. Later she will be able to help read along as different words written in red are repeated throughout the book and intended help new readers.
Wonderful book! My students love this series and it's great that they are back in print!!
