Fascinating. Detailed. Up–to–date. Multi–authored. Providing more information than just about anyone would want – or need – to know about the politics and economics of mining antimony, beryllium, cobalt, gallium, germanium, indium, lithium, magnesium, platinum, palladium, rhodium, rhenium, tantalum, niobium, tungsten and the rare earth elements. Well worth the $100.
This book is an excellent resource for those in need of a cursory knowledge of sources for Critical Metals . The future outlook of Metals is discussed and throughout the book references are listed for quoted information. Recycling of Critical Metals is also covered.
I am a metallurgist but not a subject-matter expert on the sources for and applications of critical metals. This provided just the right level of detail for me to come up to speed.
