For any child who loves trucks... this has to be the best one ever written. I say that because my grandson had me read it to him 6 times the first day he got it, then his mom read it, and his dad read it to him. Illustrations are done by someone who really had an eye for detail, and the text is fun and playful. If I could have given this more stars, I would have. Love it, love it, love it!
Beautifully illustrated with lots to look at on each page for the little one who is REALLY into trucks as is my 3 yr old grandson. He loves stories that rhyme. Was so excited to receive it and it did not disappoint!
This is a must have for any little boy obsessed with trucks! My son received it for his 3rd birthday, and we read it several times per day. It's written as a rhyme, and it flows nicely so it's fun to read as well. The timbre can be almost soothing, and works well for a bedtime story.
Bulldozers and backhoes, cranes and combines, plows and pavers, forklifts and firetrucks, tractors and trash compactors - they're all here in all their glory doing what they do best. They haul, pave, pull, lift, and push. And for kids who like huge machines, these will delight. It seems a little boy is driving these machines - and it's not just in his imagination either. The ending will make you want to go out and buy all of these toys for your little one. My sons and students loved big construction vehicles. This book should please many with its vivid, big and colorful machines.
I bought this for my 3 and 4-year-old grandnephews, who are crazy for trucks, and I'm told they really enjoy having it read to them. The older one is starting to know the words. I'm sure he will have it memorized soon.
Adorable book for Preschoolers and every three year old boy's dream. As a Preschool teacher I think my little guys will love it.
Ah, this one is good. You kids out there who love big machines? This one's for you. Read it and you can drive 'em all, too---18-wheelers...concrete mixers...snowplows...all of 'em. With rhyme and a great ending that ties it all together. Give it a read, you machine-crazy kids.
My 2 year old and I love this book. I purchased it based on 's recommendations and now I am highly recommending it to any truck loving child. We love the bright, colorful photos and the adorable rhyming story.
