Our six month old son loves the Bosley bear series. The books are very interesting to him, and I love the German and English translations side by side. In the back, there are vocabulary lists, which are helpful. I am learning some new words myself! As a stay-at-home mom, I find it interesting to practice a language and read to my baby at the same time, I feel that it benefits us both!
This is a pretty typical low-budget paper book. For the age it's targeted at, I would have expected higher quality paper in the book - I expect the pages will get ripped or torn out entirely fairly quickly. The cover is also pretty soft and I would expect prone to easy damage and tears.The English/German is acceptable - but if you're looking for any kind of a story book, this is not it. I may get one of the other Bosley books to see how their storylines go, but this one is pretty much just a side-by-side word comparison with extremely simple illustrations on a plain white page. Just overall not real impressed. Hoping they'll continue developing into a more flushed-out quality all around.

Beautiful pictures, good quality paper and printing, nice story line. Baby loves it. Now will she learn german from it?
This series was a present for my Granddaughter and her father as a way to teach her german and to keep him fluent..
