Excellent book for young toddlers! This is a big book with lots of flaps to lift. The flaps tear easily though, so some supervision is needed while the child explores the book, but that is to be expected with any lift-the-flap book! This book has pages with themes like "toys", "things that go" and "pets", etc. and then the last page has number flaps from one to ten. My twin toddlers are two years old, and both of them have taken a great interest in lifting the flaps to discover what's underneath, while learning new words. It's an excellent book for toddlers to explore and learn and I would highly recommend it!
A tad disappointed. I thought you would guess the picture in front and under the flap would tell you what it was. This wasn't the case. The front of the flap and underneath are two different words. This confused both my daughter and me.
Not exactly sure how it happened, but the book came with a 49 cent label in the corner and in terrible condition. The book itself is a good book, but the condition of the one we received was the worst I have seen. It was ripped and missing many, many flaps.
Good, but I wish the flaps were made a little sturdier. My 15 month old daughter has torn or bent many of the flaps. However, she does get a lot of enjoyment from this book.
