When I first opened it up, I had my doubts. But when my grandkids came over they loved it. I knew it was a winner when they wanted to read it 3 times in a row.Be aware, it's a very heavy and big book. And sometimes the parts will fall out. Not a story book, more of an activity book. But like the bottom line is the kids like it, and that's what counts. Not sure how long it's going to last though.
Incredible book! Full of hands-on features made both my grandson and his grandparents impressed. Fantastic graphics with a toolbox inside leave the reader mesmerized. For young children, supervision is necessary to keep this book intact. Worth every penny!!!
I have 5 grandchildren, this book is read every visit. It seemed expensive, but it's been 4 yrs now and it's mystique still captivates. Get one before they are gone, like the Taxi book and the Toolbox book.
I hesitated to answer until the book was put to the test. As a Christmas gift to Grandchild, it was just delivered. It is exactly what the boy wanted and he went ape over the book. He is 2 1/2 and very capable of many things. I also got him a "fire truck" to go with it. His mother really liked the book!
We love all of these books but a couple items were hard to get out the first time and ripped right away. Other than that they are so much fun for my son. We have this and toolbox one and my daughter has princess purse. I have purchased many for birthday gifts. They are always a great hit!
I saw a friend's child reading this and ordered it for my 3 year old grandson. He loves fire engines and really enjoys playing with all the interactive pieces. Sometimes he read with his parents and sometimes he spends time with it on his own. It's a great book for a little guy just getting into books.
My son LOVES this book! It is full of hands on fire truck fun. Would not recommend for children under 4...has many parts which are made of sturdy cardboard, but can easily be ripped, especially by an interested younger brother:( Easily repaired with glue.
I have the My Little Pink Princess Purse for my daughter and she loves it! The pieces have held up well - when I saw there was a Fire Truck version I was super excited to get it for my son. The pieces are harder to pull out and put back in then the purse version and over all just not as well designed.
