This is an exciting, well reported, detailed story of men facing incredible odds. It held my interest from beginning to end. At times it's a tad confusing as the real life story jumps back and forth between time frames, but the overall feeling is almost as if one were actually there.
Fantastic story. We listened to this in the car with our kids and we all loved it. Riveting, suspenseful, emotional.The ONLY issue I have is the narration. It's inconsistent in tone and tempo. Additionally, Zuckoff reads the emotional parts waaaay too tenderly (he does it in the Benghazi audiobook, too). It's kind of weird. My husband and I have a running joke where we blow air kisses when Zuckoff gets to these parts because it seems so fitting with the slowed, hushed tone. Anyway, it's not so off-putting that we didn't enjoy the book.
a very intriguing story told with a flash back and a current prism. Well written and the narrative was very good.
Enjoyable read of a true story. I am looking from in part two and the full recovery and what might be found.
I would highly recommend this one. Wonderful how the author combined history with present day.Very engaging!
