My little girl is so entranced by Daniel Tiger. She has so many stuffed animals and books of Daniel Tiger and when I showed her this book she was so excited! We were about to go to Cali for a family vacation and we were going to spend a lot of time at the beach! I thought this would be such a fun little book to get her familiar with the beach and to get her involved and excited about it all and it worked perfectly! In fact I still carry it in my purse and bust it out when she's getting antsy and it even comes in handy to keep my niece and nephews entertained! The book is a sturdy cardboard book and the front cover is a little bit puffy and makes it easier for their little hands to hold onto it. It's a great size. Not to big, not too small. Small enough to throw in your bag but big enough to not lose it in the black hole that is a diaper bag! She loves reading it to her kitties and her cousin too! The story is adorable and also teaches you a little lesson which is what I love most about Daniel Tiger. It teaches you to stay close to your parents/guardian and "Stop and listen to stay safe". We're very familiar with all the episodes and all of the songs so she was able to connect that song to the new book and it helped her to grasp the concept and follow the rules while we were at the beach. Great book, great show. I give Daniel Tiger an A+ all day every day! - DaniHomemakerPink sun hat: Floppy Straw Sun Hats for Girls Pink
Daniel Tiger is my grand-daughter's favorite and this is another adorable book. It has a padded cover with cardboard pages. It has a lot of dialog compared to some of the Daniel Tiger books, so is good for older toddlers.
This book has a cute story that follows the episode at the beach; it discusses safety (Stop, and listen to stay safe!) and the only bummer is that it is smaller than some of the other Daniel Tiger books (like I Love You Mom) and that means the text is smaller. Not the end of the world, but contributes to a lower rating in my world.
My 1 year old is DT crazy, she loves the book. Durable board book, lots to look at and simple story for younger toddlers, but not too simple - my 3 year old can also stay interested for the short story. It's a cute book for the little Daniel Tiger fan in your life.
So disappointing! My son is 19 months & LOVES Daniel Tiger. This book is too wordy in comparison to other DT books & just an unappealing story. The theme of the book is great - safety at the beach - but I feel it could have been much better written.
Brought this along on a trip to the beach. I really like the soft-ish hard cover; my son likes to bite the edges of all his books, but this cover has stood up to that, unlike the regular board books. Really love all the Daniel Tiger shows and stories!
We absolutely love it and can't wait to read it. My daughter loves her daniel tiger Books. I love that it's hard. Less of a chance I'll have to fix it like all the paper ones. I'm in awe. Can't wait for her bday
I bought this for my nephew for his fourth birday. It shipped and arrived very quickly and as expected. My nephew loved it and I would recommend it to anyone.
