This is a great, sturdy board book that very little readers will enjoy multiple times.And, when you've explored all you want about the dogs, you can always discuss that cute little mouse who seems to appear on every single page!Cute, educational, and very, very entertaining. This is a must for your toddler's library.
it's a short story - only 5 pages, which was dissapointing at first. but the different textures fascinate my 14 mo old daughter. she loves to go through it constantly.
We started with that's not my Puppy and now have 5 of these books. They are my 1 year old's favorite books by far. Sturdy enough for me to leave a couple of them in the crib (they don't distintigrate if he puts them in his mouth like some board books), and engaging enough for him to sit still for a full read. He looks through them alone and with us over and over. He has loved them since about 6-7 months old.
I would spend the money and buy the other touchy-Feely books by this publisher. I'm not a huge fan of the "That's not my..." Series. The books are short and too simple. Their other books (Fairy, mermaid, farm) have actual stories and more to do.It is nice that this book has various textures though.
This is great as far as touchy feely books go. There are a variety of textures for baby to explore. But it is very short with a total of five page of text. And the text itself is fine but not very rich.
This is my son's favorite book, and we have gone through one already. He likes to sleep with it, play with it, and ultimately destroy it. It is a cute little story, with textures for my son to feel and play with. It is pretty durable, he is just really destructive. I wish it came in a rubber format because then he couldn't destroy it as much, but if I keep buying used copies, I can always have one waiting in the wings.
I orginally got this book for my daughter when she was a baby and I recently purchased it again for my son who is 2. My daughter who is 13 now was so excited to see this book. She told me how much she enjoyed it "when she was little" and couldn't wait to read it to her brother. I'd say it's definately a great buy
The book is adorable. However...It was advertised as in "Condition: Used - Good - MINOR WEAR from storage and/or use. Eligible for Prime. 100% Satisfaction guaranteed!" The book I received is in poor condition. It's usable but the binding is completely separated from the pages of the book, and I guarantee my 18 month old will break this book quickly. Disappointed in this misrepresentation of the book.
