The CDs present a wonderful opportunity to listen to native French speakers.The units are very well integrated with the textbook. The content either introduces and or consolidates what is in the book.One technical feature which is excellent is that one is able to "rewind" within the section, ( using pause and slide bar). This means it is not necessary to have to go back to the beginning of the track and play all over again.One minus is that at the end of each track the audio runs on with voice over and this does not allow the student to hear the whole of the script. This is no good because the student could be searching for the correct word/phrase.Admittedly the student could refer to the script in the back of the book but the whole point of having CD s is aural skills.I and my family are delighted however to have this product. Excellent value and presentation.
