Friends,Review for spanish Instant Immersion. this is the 3rd audio set I have bought from . I got Pimular. then some mexican spanish accelerated. Now this. it comes on a 18 cd course, which seems HUGE. it seems designed to be sitting at a desk, with paper and pencil, so you can take notes and write stuff down. Well If I was sitting at a disk, I would have a computer and being going THOUGHT an online course, not just listening. so it seems like it was made with "20 year ago" thinking. I think most of this course is on youtube, so why read reviews when you can LISTEN for yourself. I find the woman talks really slow, no wonder its 18 cd's. could have been done in 9.So I listen in my car. and its almost to indepth for in the car listening. Unless you are able to give it 100%, then who the heck is watching the road??I think Pimsleur did it the best. no extra talking, just spanish to listen to in your car. I would rank this as number two. Very much detail, but alot of work to listen and change 18 cd's. I think they might come on one with a MP3 format, but I have not listen to that yet. worst of the 3 is Mexican spanish accelerated. I would pick this before that.But punch this up on youtube, and see for yourself, get your own opinion and not mine. good luck with your spanish.Adios.Dr. Darrell of michigan.
