I got the book and it did not have the same cover as indicated on the website and the ISBN number was one digit off. Not a big deal except for the fact that our child's school required an exact match on the ISBN.
This novel was a great middle grade novel and was better than the Magician's Nephew. I loved the fantasy elements in this book. This series is filled with wonderful Christian allegories! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!
I read it to my daughter who watched to movie. She enjoyed it more than she was expecting. I was pleased.
As both an author and reader of fiction, I was impressed with The lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Maybe it is because I have always enjoyed a book that could hold my attention and make me think at the same time.
