I use this product to tutor 5th graders and struggling 6th and 7th graders. Bright colors, clear images communicate well, and there is nothing improper about including improper fractions in the set! Very pleased. At the price, I'd be pleased if they only lasted one school year, but they look like they have several years worth of quality.
My daughter was struggling with the concept of fractions and being able to have a visual for each fraction helped her pick it up much more quickly.
I pnly like these cards half the time...okay, bad fraction joke. These are fine cards. Easy to organize with color coding.
The very day I got the product my 6yr old wanted to play with them. She grasped the concept immediately. These cards are amazing!! They absolutely work!!!
These cards are colorful without being distracting. They have helped my daughter to really put a picture with the number, such as 1/4, seeing one fourth of a pie colored in. The cards themselves are nice quality and I think these will easily last us through multiple children.
Flash card fractions are just like advertised! My kids tolerate them as much as any normal child would...guess using pieces of cake would be more enjoyable for them, although then they'll be my little chunky monkies.
These are big and easy to read. But they aren't as thick as I would prefer them to be, and they are only coated on one side.
For students who are just beginning to learn fractional parts, these flashcards are great. You can use them with individuals or small groups or you can put them up on a document camera for an entire class.
