This CD was my introduction to Dave Ramsey and I am now a huge fan. In less than 3 years we paid off over $80K in debt, our income has gone up and we are working on paying off our mortgage. Simple practical advice - stop borrowing, pay cash, have an emergency fund and pay off your debt. Dave is very motivating.
This cd is a recorded session of one of several of Dave's money management classes, clearly not originally meant to be sold in this manner. While this provided plenty of great advice and motivation, I was hoping for more details.
Great so good I gave this to my kids and grandkids. Went on line and purchased some with the Total Money Makeover book and CD's.I have cut up my credit cards and doing the budget.. Awesome sence of peace getting on the right track and helping others.
Dave explains a budget so well. Tells how easy it could be, but people resist doing it. Where is the will power of the American worker to save 15%, live within their means and only spend 85 cents of every dollar they make, not $1.25 of every dollar. Make high school students take classes on this subject, and there will be no more recessions.
Dave Ramsey is tough but offers excellent advice. I wish he would go into more detail on some of his CDs though. Dave - do one for us people listening at home and not in the audience! You prob have some that I just haven't found.
The only thing better is to have the kit and the DVD's so you can see him speak rather than just listening.
I like Dave Ramsey. I listen to his radio show. This seminar shows more of his personality. Good stuff. I recommend it for some key budget basics that we should all adhere to for success.
Good advice in the entire series do Dave Ramsey products. Everyone should listen to the CDs or watch the DVDs if they are unable to attend his events in person.
