IN A NUTSHELLWhen I got this book using Kindle Unlimited, I mistakenly thought I was getting a novel somewhat similar to an Inge H. Borg historical novel. As I commenced to reading it, though, I found this to be a totally different, fun take, oriented to our youth. It tickles youthful minds who want history to come alive, rather than be some dispassionate recitation of facts and dates.Although there are additional adventures hinted at, this is a story that does not end with a cliffhanger.Length: Print, 133 pages.Target Audience/Genre: This is Historical Fiction, primarily oriented towards young readers interested in a humorous adventure in Ancient Egypt.Q - What was the Rank on the date this review was published?A - 6,418.Q - How was this book obtained?A - Purchased through Kindle Unlimited.Q - Is this a book that I can read without having to read others first?A – Yes.Q - Are there a lot of typos/misspellings, grammatical errors or other editing failures?A – No.Q - Is this a fast, easy read or is it more of a leisure read?A – This is a fast read.Q - What sort of language does this writer use to amplify the points made?A – Plain English with no profanities.Q - My biggest pleasure or disappointment?A - I'm not sure what I found most pleasurable. The cartoon images were nice, and the humorous interchange between Gallo and Callie keeps the story lighthearted. Probably, though, I most appreciated his 'Scriptor's Fun Facts' at the end of the book.I’ve included a small excerpt below, so readers can peruse the style of presentation utilized by the author.
