As always, Hank Smith delivers another inspirational message! I bought this based on his other CD's and because my teens were begging me to but to be honest, I thought if he goes with the whole faith thing, we have already kind of heard that. What more could possibly be said about this particular teaching of Christ's? I was pleasantly surprised with the insights that he came up in regards to building your house upon a rock with the idea of a public and private life (The idea is simple but brilliant). I also really loved his reference to C.S. Lewis's "The Great Divorce" I love C.S. Lewis-I am pleased that he is introducing youth to great authors like C.S. Lewis and helping them to interpret and be excited about the things C.S. Lewis writes (If you are a teen and haven't read The Chronicles of Narnia it is a must read!) This CD is also fantastic because it is a lot longer than his other CD's as it also has the bonus talk about how to know when you are feeling the Spirit. We listen to Hank all the time on trips and he always has us laughing but he leaves you with a message that is not soon forgotten and is worth listening to again and again.
We have listened to a few of Hank Smith's CDs, and this one has been our favorite so far. So many great stories, always with a spiritual connection. Hank Smith is hilarious, and yet can turn it to uplifting and powerful, with a lasting impact. Our whole family loves his CDs!
I absolutely love every CD I have of Hank Smith (and I have them all) My favorite CD of his is Unshaken but I think this one is my next favorite. he will make you laugh and feel the spirit the entire way through his talks. If you have youth, then I would HIGHLY recommend getting all of his CD's and listening to them regularly!
Our family love's listening to any one of Hank Smith's cd's. We bought this one as soon as it came out and our family of 6 all love this cd! This one happen's to be my favorite! I especially love the bonus talk and how you help the youth learn to recognize the Holy Ghost!!
Love this motivational cd. Hank Smith is a joy to listen to and still talks about the hard stuff. Highly recommend for anyone in the process of raising teens.
