This is another outstanding little audio cd. Not only is it specific to Christ's Birth, but the music accompanyment is outstanding with Phil Keaggy on the guitar. Beautifully performed by the actors and moving, I was yet again blown away by the quality and the price which was literally a steal!I intend to incorporate this little cd as part of my Christmas celebration this year!!!;-)Thank you again to all involved!Elizabeth Schnell
I purchased this CD because I wanted to start a new Christmas Eve tradition in my home. As the years pass I find myself enjoying less of the hustle and bustle of the Christmas holidays (decorating, gifts, etc.) and wanting to focus more on the reason we celebrate Christmas (the birth of Jesus the Christ). I found that hearing the age old story in this excellent production using Biblical text was a wonderful way to focus on the religious aspect of Christmas. While I own the Word of Promise New Testament, this CD is an easy way to quickly access just the Christmas story.
This is a wonderful audio book, the christmas story with beautiful guitar background, I found this to be very inspiring during the rushing and stress of the holiday season. This is a perfect gift for anyone who needs to slow down and reflect on what Christmas is about, a fabulous Christmas find!
I can't praise these CDs enough! The producers created a fabulous treasure of the Bible using wonderful music and hundreds of voices portraying the people in the Bible. I have learned so much and enjoyed listening to the teachings of Christ as I quilt or just relax listening. I treasure every word.
This is a compelling and beautifully dramatized reading of the Christmas story. I highly recommend this for next year's services or bible study times. It will touch your heart as perhaps never before hearing this oft read piece of Christian literature and truth.
It makes it more realistic, more human than readings. The sounds, to hear the fights and the animals etc is captivating. Bought the whole bible as well.
This is a very nice dramatic reading of the Christmas story from the Bible. I can see listening to it in the car beginning the first of December to keep Christ's birthday in the forefront of our Christmas celebration.
Was a nice, well performed story, not tooo long, and not at all boring! Vioces were easy to hear and understand, and my family said it told the story of Christ quite well!
