I absolutely love this complete bible on CD.The individual cd's make it easy to take whatever book I am studying to work, in my purse when traveling (I use a cd case to protect the cd) or to listen in my car. The price was phenomenal, the Lord blessed me to find this set for $29.99 during Christmas 2008. I had been purchasing individual bible on cd from the dollar store until I realized I could purchase the entire set for less than $1.00 per cd. God is good.I like to listen to the book of Psalms when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep right away.A brother in the church and I were riding in my car a few weeks ago and the book of Matthew was in the cd player. He was so excited to hear the bible on cd. He asked if I could give him the information on where I purchased it so he could purchase it and listen at work. We never know how God will use us to encourage someone else.I have noticed that listening to the cd's helps my bible study. When I read the bible the scriptures I have listened to on cd stand out and helps me to easily memorize scripture.I pray you enjoy studying the Word of God as much as I do.May God bless you
This is a faithful reproduction of the Bible as translated from the King James version. The New King James is an improvement over the original from the standpoint of retaining all the majesty coupled with a greater depth of understanding for the contemporary reader.
No surprises here.......the Bible cd set is exactly as it was portrayed. I would have been just a bit happier if the narrator spoke a little slower, At times his pronunciation is a bit over-done, but never misunderstood. All in all I am pleased. It's become a companion in the kitchen when I have some time-consuming thing to finish, and also in the car while traveling. Price-wise -- a good investment.
