I bought this roughly a week and a half ago and it feels like it has helped my vocabulary improve quite a bit. I was a bit worried that the music would kind of ruin the effect of trying to listen to the Japanese and Japanese to english translations by making it difficult to hear, but it didn't. The only downside to this product is when the woman speaks in Japanese it will occasionally do an echo of the word on the third time saying it, and it kind of ruins it if you're really, really trying hard to hear how the word is pronounced.Otherwise I really like this product and have suggested it to my friends that want to one day visit Japan seeing as this will teach you a lot of the basics you will require to be able to communicate with the Japanese. If there happens to be anymore for learning additional Japanese phrases past Volumes 1 & 2 I would gladly invest in them.
