I've been recommending this as a good workbook for my Spanish I students to review during the summer. They all say it is too easy, but I'm thrilled to know that they are looking at it. As they work through it, hopefully they'll be more challenged. It would be a useful tool for teachers in the public schools, and I would have used it when I taught in public school as bonus material for students who finished quizzes or other exercises early. The vocabulary is very basic for Spanish 1, and uses a good non-regional mix, meaning these are words that would be recognized in all Spanish speaking countries, not just Spain, and not just Mexico (some textbooks seem to lean one way or the other.)Great amount of material for the price, and because the answer key exists, an excellent self-study tool. I would say ages 7th grade and up would benefit from this book.Sra. GoseSpanish Teacher, AuthorFlip Flop Spanish Series

This book amply covers topics pertaining to beginning Spanish. The exercises are clearly laid out, and the answer keys in the back are easy to use and very helpful for independent study. I recommend it!

I am 36 years old and decided to teach myself Spanish. I got this book so I could start at the beginning and I am glad I did. Yes it is an elementary level workbook but that is where I needed to start. I did get several different workbooks like this and it did got a little boring going over the same things but it was also really good review and I am glad that I got these.

I am using this to teach my 7th grade son Spanish. He is a beginner and this was perfect for him. The lessons are laid out easily. In the beginning a lot of it was vocabulary so he could do that by himself. Towards the end, more of the lessons I had to do with him, to help him understand them. And practicing with him has helped! The answer key is in the back. I recommend this book to anyone starting out.

My teenage son love this book. He's learning spanish at home and has picked up spanish very quickly from this book. In his first week of use he learned his ABC's and numbers to 50. He even constructed a sentence for me that says, "Me gusta las chicas" which is "I like the girls". I now realize where his motivation came from, teen love but the book is a great tool.

This 128 page book has been perfect for my daughter to learn the basics of Spanish before she starts high school!! Would highly recommend!

I have enjoyed this workbook very much and recommend it for all students of beginning Spanish. I am still working in the book. It helps me review and practice my Spanish skills. The answer key allows me to learn by correcting my own errors. I often take it and a pencil with me when I leave the house just because the book is so easy to work from.

I am using this for a Seventh grader and find it very helpful. He seems to enjoy the lessons. I think that if you did not have a background in Spanish that it might be hard to use. I supplemented with a lot of on-line activities and games. I wish that there was more review, but overall it covers a lot for just one workbook and is worth the price.
