This product arrived very swiftly and is very crisp and beautiful.I went through last academic year using the calendar and the formatting (which other people have mentioned), with the vertical columns is perfect, especially if you like making lists and checking off tasks. There are quotes every week which are a nice perk, especially if you have a rough week jam packed of tasks. I highly suggest this calendar to any student, especially if he/she is taking summer classes.
I started using the NYC Library Student Planner when I was in college (15 or so years ago). The class schedule pages in the front, class information pages with professor contact info, etc., monthly, then weekly pages were made of the perfect grade of paper to support my writing enjoyment. :) It has front and back flaps that accommodate an addition fold so they can be used as placeholders while not scrunching up your pages. I kept my schedule and notes so meticulously in them, that I ended up saving every year's planner - and now I can look back at them as a journal. So many memories, in a compact, tidy form!I have been searching for a non-student planner that approaches this level of clean, minimal appearance with superb organization, ever since. I purchased this at the beginning of my son's first grade year, and found that it is still perfect. I keep his daily class schedule instead of mine (he changes classes every hour, different daily), and otherwise use it just like I did in college. Thank you so much for not changing all the things that made this the best planner years ago!
My daughter uses this for college and I used it for grad school. It's a great, straightforward planner without a lot of bells and whistles, which is what makes it so effective. I have since graduated, but I just bought another one of these because it is so easy to use.
I have been using this planner for years and I love it. I much prefer the vertical layout to the horizontal one in most weekly planners. I just wish they would bring back the pretty photos that used to grace the covers!
