I love the faithful translation and the same great story, but my favorite aspect was the alteration made to Garth Williams' original illustrations so that Charlotte's web actually spells out her famous words in Spanish. The only reason the book did not get the full 5 stars is because two of the images were printed wrong (the one of Charlotte laying on her web is upside-down, while the picture of the fair is a mirror image of the original). Otherwise, the book was fantastic.

I haven't read Charlotte's web in English, and I chose it to practice reading in Spanish as one of the first books... after all that's how I got fluent in English.it was great!Beautiful, well-told story.

I had never read La telarana de Carlota as a child and only had a vague idea of the story when I purchased this book. As an adult what a sweet surprise it was to discover this classic children's tale.
I buy spanish books to take to Guatemala on mission trips and Charlottes Web is a wonderful childrens book. Was happy to find that they had it in Spanish. The children will love it!
Our daughter is very happy to have another Spanish book in her library. It is an excellent book to have in any language. Thanks!
