The Moleskine weekly calendar with the days on the left and a lined page on the right has been my favorite for at least 5 years. I find physical calendars much handier than electronic because I use mine as a little scrap book of reminders, tickets, dried plants, business cards, and so on. I use the back pocket for a tiny notebook to track income & expenses. I make a second pocket for the inside front cover so I can keep another tiny notebook to make lists, knitting notes, copy quotes, etc. I like to purchase my calendar months early so I can keep dates and notes for the following year in the place they will be useful in the future. I find the quality as high as would be expected although the woven bookmark often comes loose before year's end.
This has been my go-to calendar for the last two years. It allows me to note my appointments and tasks on the date side and then a running budget/extra notes on the note side. It has consistently maintained it's shape, color, and structure. I carry it every day in my purse, so it is not treated with the most care. The pages are thick enough that several types of ink do not bleed through. I am very impressed with this pocket calendar.
