I installed this on my kindle for church while we are waiting for my 2 yr old daughter to go to Children's Church. She loves the pictures and know wants her own goldfish. Keeps her occupied and I love that.
I couldn't decide if this was a book or a comic book. The illustrations look like a beginner cartoonist drew them who tried to use a computer drawing program. The illustrations were okay though for my daughter. She was satisfied with the pictures. It seems the story must continue with the next book because we were left hanging at the end. This was confusing to my 5 year old who had invested some attention span into the plight of Orangey. If the story is meant for this age group, then I would suggest a conclusion to the story. If it is written for older kids who can carry a story line to a next book, then the story is not complex enough or drawn well enough.
Simple and sweet. the fish monologue was funny and added value to the story. good job and I saw there is a follow up story as well so I will read that too. I recently got Boe The Greatand my nephew really enjoyed that as well.
I like how the dialogue includes the fish and his quirky little attitude, too. This is a very nice Kindle freebie for kids!
I'm not quite sure how this title has earned so many 5 star reviews. There's really nothing to this story. It's about a boy who brings a goldfish home from the pet store and has to learn how to take care of his pet. Oddly, the boy tastes the fish flakes when he's feeding the fish and the dad barely says anything. This could have been a cool story if it was better written.I did learn a lesson about reading these stories alone first and not downloading anything else by Eddie Bee.
My two sons love this book. It's read every night before bed. They both giggle throughout the whole book. A+
I enjoyed this sweet short story about Orangey receiving a new home and a new best friend, Billy. This taught responsibility to Billy and it do so for any kids. It's also got some very brilliantly colored illustrations in it. I would recommend this ebook for kids especially but even us older ones am also enjoy it. So, these are my reasons for giving this ebook five stars. I also have a small fish, a beta, named Robbie! Great ebook author! By Angela
