This is the same text as the more expensive version. Do yourself a favor and save your money and buy this book. Then go out to the bar and spend the 120 dollars you saved on some drinks and enjoy college. Lol. Or... Invest it.
Beware if you are downloading the rented kindle edition. I have 2 pcs running windows, 1 tablet running windows 8, 1 tablet running android, and a kindle and the ONLY thing this book will download onto is my phone. Who in the world wants to read an upper level finance textbook from their phone? Of course, after I discovered this, there was not an option to return the book even though it was 5 minutes after placing the order.
The book was great, but the index had been cut out of the back. I really disliked that. The book was in good condition otherwise and I received email notices from reminding me to return the book when my rental time was up, which was a nice reminder.
The book was exactly what I needed for my class at a fair rental price. I'm concerned because I've only been using the book for two weeks and the binding is coming apart at no fault of my own. I'm hoping that I won't be penalized for that, as it is obvious that this book has been in many people's hands.
Although this book covers strategies and concepts, it doesn't give much reasoning behind those strategies and concepts. Not much explanation in layman's terms.
Conclusive and thorough. It is a dense read at times but provides exceptional insight to those matters most pertinent in today's globalized economy.
Easy to read, a lots of useful info. Great graphs allowed to memorize more material. Great quality an in general very well organized book.
Enjoyed this textbook. A well written and formated book perfectly fit for the student of International Finance. I recommend it.
