Leaving Holly brook is the second story about a loving Amish family I enjoyed this second story very much but if you have not read Mellie's Sweet Shop first I suggest you do so. It will make you understand the story so much more. I am off to read the third story now. These are short novellas that don't take long to read but when you are done you feel like you are part of the family. Get all three books and enjoy.
Following Beth's story is truly amazing. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens to her next. Beth and Mellie's closeness is wonderful. What Beth does for Timothy and his children is really special.
I wish the book would have been a bit longer. I was just getting excited about what might happen next when the book ended
