Rebecca Lehman was a beautiful Amish girl with black hair and blue eyes like her father Eli. Sarah her sister was a plain girl with mousey brown hair like her mother. Eli was a very handsome man who turned the heads of all the young beautiful Amish girls who always flirted and vied for his attention. Martha never flirted or even looked his,way because she was a plain looking woman. Eli married Martha but she was not really happy with Eli because she feared him and his temper. He was the head if him s house and he never let her forget it. He was very strict with Rebecca and now she is dead. All signs put out that Eli could have killed his daughter. You will enjoy the read.

This is not a romance. It is a murder mystry. Really not Hannah Schrock's typical romance! It was dark, depressing and Eli seemed downright sinister and mean. There wasn't an ounce of romance or even happiness. It was just oppressive and sad. It started out dark and got darker I want to have something good to say, because I usually like Hannah Scrock, but this was jsut not her best. Stick to romance next time please Ms. Schrock..

The title and review drew me in, but the story is too simplistic for most adults. I'd recommend it more for a Young Adult reading level and even then it's a short, simple story. I read it in about 20 minutes and knew the plot outline almost as soon as the murderer was introduced and their whereabouts and demeanor described.

I try to find something good to say about every author I read. Ms. Schrock doesn't hold your attention and interest . She must be an amateur and I think she will improve with time. Not a fan of this book.

This woman is more than Amish. She's a detective who will not leave a mystery unsolved! She's willing to face the wrath of her community and place herself in life or death situations to bring the person who harmed her friend's daughter. Join me in reading the Missing Amish Girl & learn that life as an Amish woman can be as complicated as living beyond the strictures of a docile Amish woman.

This book went so fast. I never really got into the characters. The story is really sad and kind of dark.

I only read a couple chapters and deleted it . Felt like a waste of time to read . I didn't like the dutch words every now and then . Too unreal .

The plot of this book sounded interesting. The book lacked in development of the plot. The characters had no opportunity for growth. If more structure was put into the plot this could be a good book.
